GUWAHATI: Assam Police conducted two anti-narcotics operations on Tuesday, January 28th, seizing drugs worth an estimated ₹3 crore.

In Karbi Anglong, police intercepted a vehicle at Amarajan in Bokajan. Following a thorough search, officers recovered 745 grams of heroin, valued at ₹2 crore. One individual was apprehended in connection with the seizure.
Meanwhile, in Nagaon, police stopped a vehicle at the Borghat bypass. This operation led in the seizure of 19,296 Dicyclomine Hydrochloride capsules, estimated to be worth ₹1 crore. Three individuals were taken into custody.
Legal action has been initiated against the suspects, and further investigations are in progress.
