GUWAHATI: The Cachar Police seized YABA tablets worth ₹9 crore during a source-based operation at the Silchar-Aizawl Bypass late on January 29 night.

Acting on specific intelligence, police intercepted an auto-rickshaw and, upon conducting a thorough search, recovered 30,000 YABA tablets that were being smuggled from a neighbouring state.
One individual has been apprehended in connection with the case. Authorities are continuing their investigation to identify the larger network involved in the illegal drug trade.
