Drug Peddlers Apprehended Along With Heroin and Cash In Khanapara

 

GUWAHATI: In an operation conducted by the Special Task Force (STF) in Assam, four alleged drug peddlers, including two women, were apprehended under the overbridge at Khanapara, near Basistha Police Station. 

The raid was initiated following intelligence received by the STF which led to the team raiding and detaining these individuals along with a substantial haul of illegal narcotics.

The seized contraband included a staggering 86 vials containing an estimated 119.5 gram of heroin.

In addition to the narcotics, the operation also resulted in the confiscation of ₹11,100 in cash and three mobile phones.

 

The arrested individuals have been identified as Dhon Rabha aged 27 from Arungiri, Ainul Sheikh aged 27 from Bhetapara, Ketep Bora aged 44 from Khanapara, and Sunabanu Begum aged 36 hailing from Kamrup Kata.
