GUWAHATI: In a deeply unfortunate incident that transpired on Monday morning, a doctor was found dead in his residence in Tezpur, Assam.
The deceased has been identified as Dr Raunak Prajapati, residing in Tezpur town of Assam, was reportedly found dead within his residence.
Hailing from Rajasthan and currently residing with his parents in Kachari village, Dr Prajapati was employed at the Misamari Sub Health Centre, as confirmed by the Sonitpur Police officials.
The Superintendent of Police (SP) of Sonitpur District, while speaking to G Plus stated that the death of the doctor has been speculated to be a case of suicide, however, an investigation has been initiated to ascertain the legitimacy of the speculation and reveal the events that led to the incident.
