GUWAHATI: The police have recovered some of the remains of Amarjyoti Dey, who had been murdered and dismembered by his wife Bandana Kalita in Guwahati earlier last year in Meghalaya.
The body was found in a plastic bag near Dawki road on Tuesday.
Bandana, a trainer at a gym in Guwahati was arrested for killing her husband and mother-in-law, dismembering the bodies and disposing of the parts in Meghalaya in a course of two months last year in the Noonmati area of Guwahati.
The mortal remains of Shankari Dey, Bandana’s mother-in-law was recovered from Sohra, Meghalaya on Monday.
While speaking to G Plus, the police officials of the Noonmati Police Station said, “We have only found some of the dismembered parts of the husband. We are still looking for the rest of it.”
