Dibrugarh-Bound Passenger Train Leaves from Delhi

GUWAHATI: Post lockdown relaxation, a Dibrugarh-bound special train today departed from New Delhi.

According to reports, the train will reach Guwahati on Wednesday evening and Dibrugarh on Thursday 

Speaking to G Plus, a top official of NF Railways, Pranav Jyoti Sarma said, "This is a normal passenger train which has started post the lockdown relaxation."

"The train has passenger capacity of around 1100 and will stop at all designated stations," he added.

Notably, with this additional deluge of passengers coming into Assam, it will be a challenge to the respective district administrations to ensure quarantine protocols and facilities are maintained.
