Debris of missing IAF AN-32 located

GUWAHATI: The Indian Air Force has found the wreckage of the aircraft that went missing on June 3 from Jorhat Air base today, June 11. 

The aircraft that went missing soon after taking off from an Air Force base in Assam’s Johrat has been located north of Lipo in Arunachal Pradesh, according to ANI.

It is located northeast of Tato, at an approximate elevation of 12000 ft, by the IAF Mi-17 Helicopter undertaking search in the expanded search zone

The finding comes three days after the Indian Air Force announced a cash reward of Rs 5 lakh on Saturday, 8 June for any information pertaining to the whereabouts of the missing aircraft.
