GUWAHATI: The number of patients who recovered from COVID-19 disease in Assam crossed the 2 lakh mark. At least 395 people were cured and discharged in the last 24 hours.

Of the 2,08,789 people who tested positive for the virus in the Assam, 2,01,331 patients recovered as of today, according to data released by the ministry of health and family affairs. A total of 96.43% of the total coronavirus cases were cured since the outbreak.
Assam recorded 152 fresh COVID-19 cases on Sunday, November 8. The cases were detected from all across the state, out of 10,985 COVID tests conducted. This was informed by the Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
With this, the active cases in Assam stands at 6,512 while 2,08,789 persons have been cured of the virus. The COVID-19 death toll in Assam stands at 943.
