Coronavirus: Kerala Leads States in Testing, West Bengal Tests the Least

GUWAHATI: Out of 36 states, union territories, 23 have registered at least one case of coronavirus in India.

Lately, Kerala and Maharashtra witnessed an exponential rise in the number of cases and have higher testing rates.

Kerala was leading by a huge margin in testing samples while West Bengal tested the least  number of samples for COVID-19. 

According to a report in The Hindu, Kerala has tested a total of 4,291 samples while West Bengal tested 128 people till March 22. The number of cases in Kerala remained low for a long time before a surge.

Pune, on the other hand, has recorded the most number of cases among districts. 

Gujarat recorded its first case later than other states but in just a short period of time, the numbers increased.
