GUWAHATI: Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal is all set to inaugurate the Ganashilpa Khagen Mahanta Udyan (Park) at Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra in Guwahati today, August 17.
The park will be inaugurated in memory of late Assamese singer, also known as the ‘king of Bihu’ on his 77th birth anniversary.

Following the inauguration, a cultural function will be held in Madhabdev International Auditorium and the late singer’s popular songs will be sung.
Assam cultural affairs minister Naba Kumar Doley will attend as the chief guest.
