CM reviews NRC updation of the state

In a meeting with senior State Government officials, Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal reviewed progress of National Register of Citizens (NRC) updation work. He directed senior officials to visit all districts of Assam to review the ongoing works related to National Register of Citizens (NRC) updation process. "Our Government is committed to safeguard the interests of each and every indegenous community of the state," says Sonowal. The CM also directed officials to scrutinise thoroughly all 6.5 crore documents submitted by citizens for a comprehensive and flawless National Register of Citizens (NRC).
