GUWAHATI: The city of Guwahati is expected to witness cloudy weather throughout the entire week with a few spells of rain, as per the weekly prediction released today by the Regional Weather Forecasting Centre in Guwahati.
The forecast stated that the city will see partly cloudy sky throughout the week, with the areas near Dispur expected to have a minimum temperature of 14° Celsius and a maximum temperature of 30° Celsius on Monday, while the areas around IIT Guwahati and the Guwahati airport expected to have a minimum temperature of 13° Celsius and a maximum temperature of 29° Celsius.

On Tuesday, the forecast predicts a partly cloudy sky with haze and the areas around Dispur can expect to have a minimum temperature of 15° Celsius and a maximum temperature of 29° Celsius, while areas around Guwahati airport and IIT Guwahati can expect a minimum temperature of 14° Celsius and a maximum temperature of 28° Celsius.
The forecast has further predicted one or two spells of rains on Wednesday and Thursday this week, with the areas around Dispur expected to have a minimum temperature of 16° Celsius and a maximum temperature of 28° Celsius, while the areas on the outskirts of the city around Guwahati airport and IIT Guwahati can expect a minimum temperature of 15° Celsius and a maximum temperature of 27° Celsius.

The temperatures on Friday and Saturday are expected to remain consistent with the areas around Dispur expected to see a minimum temperature of 15° Celsius and a maximum temperature of 27° Celsius, while areas around Guwahati airport and IIT Guwahati expected to see a minimum temperature of 14° Celsius and a maximum temperature of 26° Celsius, with rain and thunderstorms predicted across the city on Saturday, as per the RWFC forecast.
Sunday will again see a partly cloudy sky with the areas around Dispur having a minimum temperature of 16° Celsius and a maximum temperature of 28° Celsius, while areas around Guwahati airport and IIT Guwahati having a minimum temperature of 15° Celsius and a maximum temperature of 27° Celsius, the forecast further predicted.
