Centre Directs States to Engage Private Sector to Ensure Affordable Healthcare

GUWAHATI: Central government has asked states to engage with private players in healthcare sector to improve healthcare infrastructure and to provide critical care facilities to people at affordable rates.

The Health Ministry also stated that some states have already begun doing this and are providing critical care for in-patient admissions.
