CBI Raids Dibyajyoti Dutta’s Residence

GUWAHATI: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has raided the house of Dibyajyoti Dutta, the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) officer who was caught red-handed accepting a bribe of INR two lakhs in connection to the allocation of a petrol pump.  

Two of his houses were raided, one in Rukminigaon and one in Athgaon. More than 100 fixed deposit documents and documents of petrol pumps were found in both his houses, in addition to crores of rupees. 

This is one of the biggest raids conducted by the CBI after Mahat Talukdar's house was raided by the bureau.
