GUWAHATI: The main conspirator in the Bulli Bai app case was arrested from Assam on Thursday, January 6. The arrest was made by the Delhi Police Special Cell Intelligence Fusion and Strategic Operations (IFSO).
The arrested person has been identified as Neeraj Bishnoi, the alleged creator of the app and main conspirator in the case that has grabbed national headlines.
Bulli Bai is a mobile app developed by a group of Indians from across the country to trick people and make financial gains. The prime modus operandi involved scammers stealing photos of women from their social media accounts and listing them on the Bulli Bai platform.
"Neeraj Bishnoi is the main conspirator and creator of 'Bulli Bai' on GitHub and the main Twitter account holder of the app. He is being brought to Delhi," DCP (IFSO) KPS Malhotra told ANI.
