GUWAHATI: Madhusmita Lagashu from Dhemaji has been selected for the Indian National Women's Handball team set to compete in the Indo-Bangladesh Handball Championship 2024 in Dhaka. This milestone was announced by Assam’s Tribal Affairs Minister, Ranoj Pegu, who extended his heartiest congratulations to the rising sports star.

Lagashu, a final-year student at Lakhimpur Girls' College, has earned a spot in the national team through her dedication and talent in handball.
