GUWAHATI: Assam’s Dr Anindita Priyadarshini Das has bagged four gold medals at the 8th Women and Men Open Masters Commonwealth Powerlifting Championship.
The championship was organised in Canada from September 15 to 21. Dr Das won the medals in the women’s equipped masters II category.
The 51-year-old powerlifter hails from Duliajan in Dibrugarh and been powelifting for the past two years.

It is to be mentioned that Dr Anindita is a Gynaecologist and a mother of two daughters. Anindita will return to Assam on September 24.
