GUWAHATI: A United Liberation Front of Asom – Independent (ULFA-I) was apprehended by police in Charaideo district of eastern Assam on June 23.
The militant, identified as Rituparna Asom alias Surajit Limboo was arrested from Dhuniya Pathar village under Sapekhati police station.
As per reports, Rituparna Asom's joining the ULFA-I was confirmed by surrendered cadres.
