Assam To Invest ₹42.72 Crore Investment For Small Industries Development

 

GUWAHATI: The Assam cabinet has sanctioned an investment of ₹42.72 crore for cluster development projects in small industries.

This announcement was made by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma after a state cabinet meeting held on Wednesday, February 5.

The initiative has been implemented to boost industrial growth, support small-scale businesses, and create employment opportunities in the state.

Additionally, the cabinet has introduced reforms to prevent tax leakage by monitoring the movement of taxable goods from outside the state.
