GUWAHATI: Due to the impact of coronavirus lockdown on educational institutions, the assam government has declared summer vacation from May 1 to May 31 so that it falls during lockdown period.
Earlier, summer vacation used to be given in July.
Further, to save the academic year of the students, the state government plans on extending the academic year till 31st March this year. However, the government has sought suggestions on this regard from academicians.
