Assam: Special AHSEC Offline Exam 2021 Likely To Be Held By September End

 

GUWAHATI: The special examination for the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) students who are dissatisfied with the statistical-based evaluation results in the final examination this year is likely to be held by the end of September. 

The Chairman of the AHSEC Rukma Gohain Baruah informed that a total of 1,967 students have applied for the special offline examination.

Baruah told G Plus that the Board has written to the Assam government to conduct the examination on September 27. 

"We are prepared to conduct the special examination any day. But we are yet the receive the NOC (no objection certificate) from the Health Department. The Board is waiting for the government's order," he said. 

Over 2.49 lakh students registered for the Higher Secondary final year exams in 2021. The pass percentages of all three streams have significantly increased with 98.93 pass percentage in Arts stream, 99.57 % in Commerce, and 99.06 % in Science stream.
