The mobile application, developed in collaboration with the National Informatics Centre (NIC), has been introduced to streamline the processing of environmental consents, including Consent to Establish (CTE) and Consent to Operate (CTO). It has been designed to promote transparency, expedite approvals, and reduce manual intervention in the consent process for industries and projects across the state.

Gokul Bhuyan, Member Secretary of the board, highlighted the app’s role in simplifying compliance checks and inspections. He stated that the platform would enable real-time tracking of consent applications and function as a single-window system for submission, processing, inquiry, and approval or rejection of applications.

Arup Kumar Misra, Chairman of the board, also noted that the digital system would reduce paperwork and processing time for industries seeking environmental approvals. He added that by simplifying the consent management process, the app would encourage industries to comply with environmental regulations proactively and promote sustainability.

Patowary stated that the initiative aligns with the broader vision of Digital India by making governance and services more accessible, as he urged industries to use the platform.
