GUWAHATI: The 'Assam Police Sishu Mitra', a child-friendly policing initiative launched in collaboration with UNICEF India and UTSAH has won a prestigious award.
The Assam Police Sishu Mitra has won the India Police Award 2020.
"Privileged to have received the India Police Award 2020 for Capacity Building on behalf of the ‘Shishu Mitra Program’ and our partners UNICEF India and UTSAH. Together we hope to ensure Child Friendly Policing," additional director general of police (admin), Assam, Harmeet Singh posted on Twitter.
