Internationally-acclaimed innovator from Assam, Uddhab Bharali has given birth to two new tools which are going to change the lives of farmers, especially women and physically challenged who can use the tools to work in the paddy fields.

His new inventions are boon to the physically-challenged, who now have to use less effort to get the digging done.

The tools can be used for ploughing fields. Using the tools invented by Bharali, persons with disability can easily perform agricultural tasks in fields which otherwise would have been impossible. The tools can enable a physically-challenged person to work in the fields.

"I am always involved with physically-challenged people. To make them able is my prime goals, for that we need certain tools, that's where I am trying to work and so have added two new tools to help those with special needs. This innovation is for them, and the technique of the product was inspired by the way a hen digs soil,” said Bharali, while speaking to G Plus.

The price of the tools is Rs. 1500. Interestingly, Bharali has come up with these inventions to help a person who had lost both his hands in an accident.
