GUWAHATI: The Government of Assam announced on Sunday, September 1, that the Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE) will open its portal from September 3 to 9, 2024, for teachers to submit grievances related to the ongoing Special Recruitment Drive. This portal is intended for Contractual and State-Pool Teachers who applied under the August 5, 2024 advertisement.

The DEE is addressing concerns from 834 applicants whose applications are on hold for further verification. These applicants can upload their grievances and supporting documents through the Assam DEE portal (https://dee.assam.gov.in).
Additionally, teachers who have already been selected in the Final Select List but are facing issues, such as mismatches in district or school assignments, can also use the portal to report their concerns.
The notice also states that all grievances must include the necessary documents, which will be verified before appointment letters are issued to those who qualify.
