Guwahati: Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Thursday announced that a National Cricket Academy (NCA) will be set up in Dibrugarh.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has requested 20 bighas of land for the academy. The CM said that to for the NCA, government of Assam will provide the required land to BCCI in Dibrugarh.
The BCCI has given nod to set up two national cricket academies in the country – one in Bengaluru and the other in North-East India (Dibrugarh).
