GUWAHATI: Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) will begin the online registration process for the Combined Entrance Examination (Assam CEE 2023) on March 14.
The notification was published on www.astu.ac.in, and candidates can apply on the same website until April 3.
The entrance exam will be held on Sunday, May 28, from 11 AM to 2 PM.
ASTU will distribute admit cards 15 days before the exam date, and results will be available 10 days after the exam.
The entrance exam syllabus will be based on the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council's Class 11 and 12 syllabi (AHSEC). The exam will consist of a single paper with multiple-choice questions and will last three hours, as per reports.
Each paper subject - Physics, Chemistry, and Math - will have 40 questions. Candidates will receive four (+4) marks for each correct answer. Each incorrect answer will receive a negative marking (-1).
The application fee for the Assam CEE 2023 is ₹1,000.
The entrance exam is held for admission to first-year BTech courses at Assam's engineering colleges.

-Go to the Assam CEE 2023 page and click on the registration link (the link may also be displayed on the home page of the university website).
-Fill out the registration form and login with your credentials.
-Fill out the application form, and upload documents.
-Pay the exam fee and submit the form.
-Save a copy of the confirmation page for future use.
