Assam: Brahmaputra Water Level Rises As Incessant Rains Continue 

 

GUWAHATI: With incessant rains lashing Assam, the water level of the Brahmaputra River has risen to 49.69 cm as of Tueday, July 2, 2024. This rise has prompted concerns as the water has reached the danger level.

Talking to GPlus, an official from the District Disaster Management Authority said, "The water level has reached 49.69 cm, putting it at the danger mark." 

Another official from the same authority added, "Even though the water level is at the danger mark, the situation is under control in Guwahati for now."
