GUWAHATI: Krishak-Sramik Unnayan Parisad (KSUP) in a press release stated that the Assam Bandh that was called on 27 December will be postponed to 30 December.
The press release mentioned that in lieu of the exams that are to be held on 27 December, and considering the requests of the students, the Assam bandh that was called by the KSUP and 10 other regional organisations has been postponed to the 30 December.
Earlier, a 12-hour Assam bandh has been called on Friday, December 27 demanding release of peasant leader and RTI activist Akhil Gogoi and other leaders.
