GUWAHATI: The Assam Cabinet has approved the First Statutes for the Kumar Bhaskar Varma Sanskrit and Ancient Studies University in their weekly meeting on November 7.
These statutes, referred to as the "Kumar Bhaskar Varma Sanskrit and Ancient Studies University First Statutes 2023," have been enacted to ensure the effective and transparent administration of the university, in accordance with the provisions outlined in the Kumar Bhaskar Varma Sanskrit and Ancient Studies University Act, 2011 (Assam Act No. IX of 2011).
This development is expected to enhance the management of and facilitate more efficient governance and decision-making processes within the university, which is dedicated to the study of Sanskrit and ancient studies.
The enactment of these statutes is a move towards the continued growth and development of the institution, with the hope that it will deliver high-quality education and research in the field of Sanskrit and ancient studies.
