GUWAHATI: Ugratara temple’s idol was handed over to temple authorities on May 2.
Golaghat police have been able to trace the centuries-old idol of Ugratara Temple from Tihu in Nalbari district of Assam.

Post verification, the idol was handed over to temple authorities by Latasil Police.
It is to be mentioned that the police have arrested six persons, namely- Samsul Alim, Mintu Rai, Adil Ali, Reshma Begum, Saan Hussain and Rahul Ali.
