The Combined Competitive Examination is conducted for all eligible candidates and the commission aims that all candidates are able to sit in the examination.

The statement read, “ due to the prevailing situation created by the unprecedented flood, there is likelihood that a section of the candidates would be deprived of the opportunity of sitting in the examination which will render the competition incomplete and not fair.”

It also stated that under the circumstances and considering all other aspects like availability of venues and examinations conducted by other entities like the UPSC, the commission has decided to presently postpone the ensuing CC (Main) Examination, 2018.
