GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Jal Board (GJB) has announced that it will be conducting flushing and testing exercise of its distribution network in several areas of Guwahati today, April 4.

As announced by GJB, the areas include Kharghuli, Joypur, Ramsa Hill, Hirimbapur, Silpukhuri, Lamb Road, Pension para, Karnachal Road, Nabagraha downside, MG Road, Panbazar, Fancy Bazar, Kedar Road, AT Road, FA Road, BK Kakoti, RK Mission, AK Azad Road, Dilip Huzuri Path, Duwarika Nagar, Rupkonwar Path/Junaki Path, Rupkonwar Colony, Zakir Hussain Road, Hengrabari, Ganeshguri etc.

GJB further stated that water leakages may occur at a few locations during the trial run and the same will be rectified by the team immediately. Everyone concerned has been requested to co-operate with the GJB team during the exercise.
