GUWAHATI: The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has officially declared the results for the recruitment of Inspectors of Schools, District Elementary Education Officers, and Deputy Directors under the Assam Education Service. This announcement comes as part of the Commission's ongoing efforts to fill crucial educational roles as advertised under Advt. No. 32/2023, dated December 12, 2023.

The interviews for these positions were conducted on Friday, June 28. Following the selection process, the APSC has recommended a total of 12 candidates for the positions.
Breakdown of Selected Candidates:
• General Category (OC): 6 positions (with 1 Reserved for Women - RFW)
• Other Backward Classes/MoBC (OBC/MOBC): 2 positions (with 1 RFW)
• Scheduled Castes (SC): 2 positions (with 1 RFW)
• Scheduled Tribes (Plains) (STP): 2 positions (with 1 RFW)
