GUWAHATI: Kirandeep Kaur, the wife of Waris Punjab de Chief Amritpal Singh, arrived at Dibrugarh Central Jail on Thursday to check on her husband.
Kaur is accompanied by Neeru Kalsi and her son Simarjeet.
Neeru Kalsi's husband, pro-Khalistani leader Daljit Singh Kalsi, is also lodged at the Dibrugarh Central Jail.
The trio met the inmates after the prison authorities permitted them.
It may be mentioned here that Punjab Police, on April 23, arrested radical preacher Amritpal Singh from Moga district.
Singh's arrest ended a month-long manhunt. He was shifted to Dibrugarh jail after eight Waris Punjab de group members were transferred to the jail in Dibrugarh.
Amritpal Singh was on the run since March 18 before his arrest.
He has been charged under National Security Act (NSA) and has a non-bailable warrant issued against him.
