GUWAHATI: State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma said that all meat and poultry shops will remain closed during the 'Lock-down' starting tomorrow at 6 PM.
Apart from grocery stores, pharmacies and petrol pumps all other shops and businesses are to remain closed.
The minister further added that people should shop for these necessities only from shops in their locality and not roam around further in the pretext of shopping.
Anybody found outside the locality would be questioned and police would verify the non-availability of essentials in the person's locality if required.
