GUWAHATI: Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that all Deputy Commissioners (DCs) of the respective districts are permitted to hire all hotels in their respective districts.
As such, all hotels and circuit houses in every district will be made available to be used as quarantine centres. This is to provide single-room attached toilet facility for better social distancing.
Going forward except Taj and Radisson Blu, all other paid quarantines in hotels will be lifted but all those who are already occupying will have to pay.
