AICC’s DC Office Ghero protest in city against demonetization

As a part of All India Congress Committee (AICC)'s agitional programme of DC's office ghero in the whole country, AICC, Guwahati today participated in the DC office ghero programme of Kamrup (Metro) under Guwahati city Congress. This programme was successfully observed in all the district head quarters of Assam. The programme was observed demanding enquiry on the corruption of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and to take proper steps to reform the economy post demonetization. Former Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi, Ripun Bora, Gaurav Gogoi, Sarat Borkataky, Akon Bora, Dwijen Sarma, Bolin Kuli, and many senior leaders took part in the programme. The protest rally submitted Memorandum to DC Kamrup (Metro) demanding enquiry on the corruption of P.M. Narandra Modi, which included -  To publish white paper on Demonetisation.  To declare the black money so far recovered. To withdraw all restrictions on bank withdrawal. To compensate the families those died on bank queue. To give 18% interest as compensation to all account holder. Rs. 25000 to each woman of BPL families. 50% rebate on income tax and sale tax to all small shop keepers, traders etc. Ration to the poor people on half rate of PDS rate for one year etc. To double the work days and wages of MGNERGA  To provide minimum wages upto 31 march 2017 to all the workers of unorganised sectors and private sectors those who lost their jobs due to demonetisation.
