AAP's 'Broom' set to Sweep Delhi Election, BJP Distant Second

GUWAHATI: Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is set for a resounding victory in the Delhi assembly elections to retain power for a third term.

Current trends state that the AAP is leading in 58 of 70 seats and the BJP in 12 seats, according to Election Commission figures.

Meanwhile, the Congress looked set to score a duck in the second consecutive election in Delhi as counting of votes took place at 21 centres across the city.

Earlier, Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari tweeted, “All these exit polls will fail. Please save this tweet. The BJP will form the Delhi government with 48 seats. Please don’t blame Electronic Voting Machines then.”
