GUWAHATI: Assam police seized 66,000 YABA tablets worth approximately ₹20 crore from a residence near the Assam-Mizoram border in Raj Gobindpur on Tuesday, March 25. The operation was carried out by Cachar Police in the early hours of the morning.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma took to social media to commend the efforts of the Cachar Police.
"In an anti-narcotics operation carried out by Cachar Police in the wee hours, 66,000 YABA tablets were recovered from a residence near the Assam-Mizoram border in Raj Gobindpur," he wrote, praising the swift action of the law enforcement team.
Further investigations are underway.
