GUWAHATI: Police seized 50,000 YABA tablets in an operation in Assam’s Sribhumi erstwhile Karimganj.

The bust occurred late night of December 12 wherein the police intercepted a vehicle entering the area from a neighbouring state. Acting on reliable intelligence, the operation, conducted near Anglabazar, resulted in the recovery of a staggering 50,000 YABA tablets.
The overall market value of the seized drugs has not been disclosed.
The bust also led to the arrest of five individuals who were allegedly involved in the illicit transportation of the narcotics. Authorities have taken the suspects into custody for further investigation.
