28-Yr-Old Assam Techie Dies In Bengaluru, Family Demands Justice

GUWAHATI: A software engineer from Assam reportedly died after falling from the 8th floor of a building in Bengaluru, Karnataka on Saturday, early morning, August 13. The deceased Trideep Konwar (28) a resident of Narayanpur, Lakhimpur was working in Whitefield and had gone for a party with his roommate that night. It is reported that Konwar accidentally slipped and fell down from the building.

Trideep had recently been promoted and was in touch with his family regularly. The family suspects wrongdoing in Trideep's death and has demanded justice through the media.

According to media reports, on the day of the incident, Trideep Konwar who lived in Sobha Dahlia Apartment at Green Glen Layout in Bellandur had gone out for a party with his roommate on Friday evening. After they returned to their flat at around 2.30 AM, two persons living in the same apartment invited them for partying. They partied on the terrace and then went to Trideep’s flat. Later they reportedly went to collect the liquor bottles they left on the terrace on 8th floor and in between Trideep fell down. 

According to media reports Trideep lost balance and fell to the ground and died.

Local police are investigating the matter. More details are awaited. 

A pall of gloom has descended over Trideep’s village in Narayanpur as he was popular among the people as a sincere, helpful and gentle person who had excelled academically.
