Young Mother Dies By Suicide In Guwahati’s Japorigog

GUWAHATI: A young mother of a one-month-old baby allegedly died by suicide in Japorigog in the early hours of Sunday, March 2.

The woman, identified as Moromi Deka, was found hanging at around 5:00 a.m. Her family immediately informed the police, and she was rushed to the hospital, but she could not be saved. 

Talking to GPlus, an official from Dispur Police Station said, "The woman was mentally ill and hung herself. We were informed by the family and took immediate action." 

Further investigation is under way.
