Yogi Adityanath to hold conference on Rafale deal in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will address a press conference in Guwahati on Monday afternoon. The press conference is one of the 70 conferences that the Bharatiya Janata Party will hold across the country on Monday.

These conferences aims to ‘expose’ the Congress for ‘plotting conspiracy’ against Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Rafale deal and how they have misused the Rafale deal to misguide the voters.

Interestingly, in the run-up to the assembly elections in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Mizoram, the Congress had deputed 50 leaders to hold press conferences in 100 cities across the country to ‘expose’ and ‘corner’ the Modi government over the Rafale deal.

The conferences have come up just after the Supreme Court of India dismissed the PILs on the Rafale deal on 14th December and had said, “Perception of individuals cannot be the basis of roving inquiry by the court,” and also added that it had “no objection to any part of the deal.”
