GUWAHATI: The Bharatiya Janata Party has released the names of the 11 candidates who will be contesting for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

As per the list announced by the BJP Assam Pradesh on their ‘X’ handle, Bijuli Kalita Medhi will be contesting from Guwahati.
Bijuli Kalita Medhi is one of the Vice Presidents of the BJP Assam Pradesh.
Bijuli completed her schooling at Holy Child School and then went on to study at Handique Girl’s College and then at Gauhati University.
The list also includes Dilip Saikia from Darrang-Udalguri, Amarsing Tisso from Diphu, Kripanath Malla from Karimganj, Parimal Shuklabaidya from Silchar, Suresh Bora from Nagaon, Kamakhya Prasad Tasa from Kaziranga, Ranjit Dutta from Sonitpur, Pradan Baruah from Lakhimpur, Sarbananda Sonowal from Dibrugarh and Tapan Gogoi from Jorhat.
