GUWAHATI: Moments after Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) declared the end of its partnership with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), its other ally Bodoland People's Front (BPF) come out in support of the ruling party.
BPF chief, Hagrama Mohilary cleared the doubts regarding their support to the government.
“We are with the BJP. The government is going to stay and there need not be any worry about it,” said Mohilary.

In the Assam Assembly of the 126 MLAs, BJP (60) along with Bodoland People’s Front (12) now have 72 MLAs. The AGP have 14 seats.
The break-up will not have any influence on the upcoming parliament elections 2019, said the BPF leader.
