GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Jal Board (GJB) has issued an important notice to the consumers residing in DMA6G4 areas in the city due to an impending interruption in water supply scheduled for September 30.
As per the notice, the areas that will be affected by the water supply interruption are Bhaskar Nagar, Sarboday Nagar, and Mother Teresa Road, etc. The water supply disruption is necessitated by the need for urgent repairs to address a leakage issue near V Mart, Zoo Road.
The GJB, in collaboration with the Guwahati Municipal Drinking Water and Sewerage Board (GMDW&SB), is actively working to resolve the leakage problem promptly. Residents of DMA6G4 are advised to make necessary arrangements to accommodate this temporary disruption in their daily routines.
