GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Jal Board has issued a notice to inform its consumers about an impending disruption in water supply today in the GN001 area, encompassing zones such as Zoo Road/Rajgarh, Chitraban Path, Sonali Path, among others.

The interruption is attributed to unforeseen maintenance work that has become necessary.
Residents in these specified areas are advised to brace for the temporary suspension of water services as the Guwahati Jal Board endeavours to conduct essential repair activities. Consumers are encouraged to make necessary arrangements to mitigate any inconvenience resulting from the temporary suspension of water services in the designated areas.

The Guwahati Jal Board took to X to put out a statement, which read, “We seek to inform our esteemed consumers that water supply will be stopped today in GN001 having areas namely Zoo Road/ Rajgarh, Chitraban Path, Sonali Path etc. due to sudden maintenance work . Inconvenience is regretted.”
