GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Jal Board (GJB) has announced a temporary disruption in water supply to several areas of the city today on December 31 due to ongoing repairs of a major pipeline leakage near Vishal Mega Mart in Ganeshguri.

The damage occurred during unrelated works by another department, prompting immediate rectification efforts by the GJB.
The affected areas include Janaki Path, Nayanpur Path, Hengrabari Path, Sewali Path, Rajanigandha Bylanes, Amritpur Path, GS Road, and RGB Road in Guwahati. Residents in these localities have been advised to make necessary arrangements for water storage as the supply is expected to resume tomorrow, tentatively, upon the completion of repair work.
