GUWAHATI: A vehicle caught fire near the Saukuchi Petrol Pump in Guwahati on September 18 at around 2:20 PM.

The vehicle, which was parked at the location, ignited suddenly, the reason for which is unknown. Fortunately, there were no reported casualties.
Eyewitnesses reported hearing cylinder blasts, though this has not yet been confirmed by authorities. Firefighters and emergency services responded promptly to bring the fire under control.
A Fire Department official said, "The fire has been brought under control. We can't confirm any cylinder blast."
Further details are awaited.
Earlier today two more fires broke out, one in Arya Nagar and another in Sreenagar area, with cylinder blasts reported from both places.
